Pharaoh: A New Era With Major Update And Anticipated Feature

A „new” feature has been added to Pharaoh: A New Era, but the latest update also introduced a number of other significant changes.

Just as promised, a new update has been released for Pharaoh: A New Era introducing a feature, which the players have been demanding since the release of this remake. This is the addition of a minimap in the lower left corner of the screen.

The list of changes does not end with this "novelty", although the following items are somehow related to it. The developers have added buttons for two functions to the minimap: "flatten" the map and show a grid of fields. Both options had been available since launch, but only as keyboard shortcuts.

Triskell Interactive also introduced changes to the game's balance. The hunters were hit hard. For not only does animal game appear on the map much less frequently, but hunters can bring back no more than ten skins from each trip. During the course of the game we also won't encounter as many criminals as before.

In addition, the developer took on two mechanics. From now on it will be more difficult to get divine help, and on top of that we will have to wait a bit before we can get more blessings. The mood system of subjects has also been rebuilt to make it easier for players to discern the causes of discontent and prevent rebellions.

In addition to the above changes we have minor fixes related to the interface, key assignment, tutorial, etc., and a large bunch of bugs have been removed. The full list of changes can be found in the developers' announcement on Steam.
