Pathologic Classic HD coming to PC. The remastered version to feature new graphics, dialogues and more
This Autumn Ice-Pick Lodge is releasing Pathologic Classic HD on Steam, GOG and Humble Store. The remastered version of that classic survival horror will feature new graphics, dialogues, voice-over, and more.
Ice-Pick Lodge teamed up with General Arcade and Gambitious Digital Entertainment to create a remastered version of Pathologic, dark-themed first-person survival horror game originally released in 2005. Pathologic Classic HD – as the remaster is to be titled – will come out some time in the future on digital distribution platforms: Steam, GOG and Humble Store. This will be a perfect chance to relive the ominous story of a remote town wrecked by a mysterious disease. The new HD version will feature more than enhanced resolution and visual effects. Interestingly, it will also include completely redone English script, re-recorded voice-overs and reinstated dialogue.
Note that this is not the same title as the previously announced Patholofic Remake, Kickstarted last year. That title is slated for launch in late 2016 on PC and current gen consoles. Prior to that, namely in Autumn 2015, we can expect the release of Pathologic Classic HD, although no specific date was given. Here’s the reveal trailer:
