Path of Exile Achieves Milestone After Settlers of Kalguur Release
The release of the Settlers of Kalguur expansion to Path of Exile turned out to be a hit for the Grinding Gear Games studio developers. The nearly 11-year-old title not only received a lot of new features but also attracted a huge number of players.
Path of Exile: Settlers of Kalguur has finally been released. The expansion to the popular action RPG has hit PCs and consoles, and it turns out, it enjoys immense popularity. This is proven by charts from the Steam database, which show that at the peak moment during the last day, 229,337 players were playing the free-to-play game at the same time. This is a record in the nearly 11-year history of PoE. We should also remember that the game can be played on consoles, as well as on PC not only on Steam but also in the Epic Games Store and in a separate application.
This level of interest shouldn't be surprising, as the DLC and the accompanying 3.25 update bring a substantial number of changes and new features to the base game. Among them, of course, is the new league, which provides 40 additional quests. For their completion, players will receive various rewards. Below, you can see how they appear in the game.
The developers have also prepared a premium track that can be purchased for points. It offers a "new exclusive armour set and some mystery boxes." Players also have access to a free track, which also offers interesting rewards (in the form of quests and items). You will find all the details in the attached video below.
It's worth mentioning that the Gringing Gear Games studio also took care of a new character class: the warden. The titular settlers also have the opportunity to contribute to the city's development. A currency exchange office was also added to PoE, which was widely commented on by players at one time.
