Patch Reduces Loading Times in The Last of Us Remastered
Naughty Dog released another update for The Last of Us Remastered. Patch 1.11 has significantly reduced loading times.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- The new patch for The Last of Us Remastered has significantly reduced loading times;
- In some cases, it takes more than a minute less to start the game.
Naughty Dog has recently released another update for The Last of Us Remastered, numbered 1.11. It significantly reduces the loading times in the game, making them almost non-existent in some cases. The improvement is well illustrated by the video you can find on ElAnalistaDeBits channel.
It is worth noting that the changes concern both loading saved game states and starting the game from the main menu. The improvement is well visible at the beginning of the game - before the patch, we waited for a minute and a half for the first animated scene with Joel and Sarah, and now it is displayed on the screen after less than fourteen seconds. Youtuber documented a case where when loading a saved game we save almost two minutes (to be exact, one minute and forty-nine seconds).
It wasn't specified on which type of storage the tests were carried out on the video, but everything seems to indicate that they do not require the installation of an SSD in the console.
Please note that The Last of Us Remastered is only available on PS4. This is a refreshed version of the hit released on PlayStation 3 at the end of the seventh generation.
