Patch 2.4 for Diablo 2 Resurrected on Test Servers Tomorrow
Patch 2.4 for Diablo 2 Resurrected will hit the public test servers tomorrow. This way PC players will be able to try out the changes in gameplay balance.
Over a month ago it was announced that Diablo 2 Resurrected will receive patch 2.4, which will introduce ranked games and runic words, among other things. Now it has been announced that the patch will arrive on PC on the public test servers (PST) on January 25. However, it is still unknown when the update will arrive to the game itself.
It is worth reminding here that one of the biggest novelties which will appear in Diablo 2 Resurrected after the 2.4 update, are the rankings, divided into four ladders:
- standard (up to act IV);
- hardcore (up to act IV);
- standard add-on;
- hardcore add-on.
At the moment, however, there is not much information on how exactly it will look like in the game, so we will have to wait for more details.
PST will enable us to try out the changes in the gameplay balance. Each of the character's classes has received modifications to skill trees. Some abilities will receive buffs, which will encourage players to use them. Improvements also relate to the synergy between individual perks. Detailed descriptions of the changes can be found here.
In addition, new runic words will be available for testing on PST. The Horadric Cube, on the other hand, will be enriched with blueprints to complement the items in the kits. Those playing on Infernal difficulty will have to deal with the increased strength of monsters in certain areas.
