Open-world pirate RPG Tempest to launch this month
Tempest, an open-world pirate RPG, is casting off from Steam Early Access later this month.
Fans of pirate-focused games will soon get another reason to spend hours in front of their PCs. After being available in Steam Early Access for almost eight months, the full version of the open-world pirate RPG Tempest is to come out on August 22, 2016. Once it is out, the game will be priced at $14.99. In its full version Tempest will feature not only the single player experience, but also cooperative multiplayer and PvP. So far the game has been receiving mostly positive Steam users’ reviews – check out the details here.
Developed by indie studio Lion’s Shade and published by HeroCraft, Tempest brings out the best of what it means to be a buccaneer. The game features three open-world regions made up of vast seas and islands of various sizes. As a pirate captain you get to manage and upgrade your ship, engage in naval combat and plunder mechant vessels, search for treasures, trade, and fight mythical sea beasts, including Kraken and Leviathan.
