Occupy Mars: The Game offers only a single-player mode. This means that you will not find any multiplayer option here. So if you wanted to play with friends, it will not be possible at this point. This is dictated by financial issues.
However, the developers have announced that a cooperative mode may come to the game. In this case, much depends on how much commercial success the game will achieve. If the developers have the funds, the multiplayer should appear somewhere in the first quarter of 2024 and then you will be able to play together with friends.
At this point it is not known how much time Occupy Mars: The Game will spend in early access. Developers from Pyramid Games assume that it will be one or two years.
