The recently released 430.39 drivers for Nvidia's graphics cards contain a bug that causes excessive CPU usage. The company has already prepared a patch to fix the problem.

Serious bug in Nvidia drivers.

A few days ago, Nvidia released a new 430.39 GPU driver pack to improve performance in games such as Mortal Kombat 11, Anthem and Strange Brigade. Unfortunately, it seems that there is a big bug in the software, resulting in excessive CPU usage. The company confirmed the existence of the bug and released a new driver version (430.53). You can download it at this address and we recommend that you do so as soon as possible. It's worth noting that the new drivers apparently need to be downloaded manually - the update is not detected by GeForce Experience.

By the way, the drivers fix several other bugs, such as the flicker effect in 3DMark Time Spy benchmark (and a similar problem when playing movies on a second monitor), desktop crashes in BeamNG and Shadow of the Tomb Raider crashes when using SLI mode.
