Zombie apocalypse has never been so beautiful… or ugly, depending on how we look at it. After 13 years No More Room in Hell will soon receive a sequel, which is planned to spend some time baking in Early Access program first. With the team behind it having more experience, we can expect that NMRiH2 will be released on consoles like PS5, Xbox, or even Switch, especially that this series strongly relies on co-op. However, that might not be the case. Let’s see what are the chances that this game will make its way onto those devices.

Console (PS5, Xbox, Switch) release of NMRiH2 explained

The barriers between platforms are slowly starting to crumble. With Microsoft not locking many titles behind their ecosystem and Sony releasing more of its exclusive games on PC, we can surely expect that more and more titles will be available on all devices including PS5, Xbox, or even Switch, which is soon to be superseded by new Nintendo console. What about No More Room in Hell 2 then? The situation is not as easy.

As we know, NMRiH2 will be first released in Early Access. This obviously means it will be initially available only on PC. This will remain true at least until the full version debuts. However, even after that, the developers do not mention console ports on their official site’s FAQ. We can assume that if the game proves to be successful enough and the demand is high, the creators might consider taking a plunge into the console market.

The more voices asking for this, the better. So, if you would like to express your desire to play NMR2 on your couch with controller in hands, you can do so on the official discord server. Good luck!
