Valve released the weekly list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers on Steam. NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139.... recorded an excellent debut. The game can be found on the first and fourth place (lists from this website often contain such doubles due to alternative purchase options, so it's nothing surprising).
The success of the game is not surprising either. NieR: Automata was very popular on PC, and the just-released remaster is a refreshed version of a game that never came out on PC.
The PC version of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139. .. has some technical issues (including a 60 fps cap, or the mouse cursor appearing in cut-scenes), but as we can see, this did not prevent it from achieving impressive sales results. Currently the game's reception on Steam is generally warm, with 78% of user reviews being positive. Players are not only buying the title en masse, but also spending a lot of time with it. The activity record for the first weekend after release was 28,683 users. The highest score achieved by NieR: Automata is just under 24,000.
Second place was taken by It Takes Two. This game can boast excellent sales since its release, always securing a spot at least on the second position in the list.
In addition, Battlefield V and Titanfall 2 reentered the top ten thanks to attractive (and still ongoing) deals.
