NFS Unbound With Activities Almost Like GTA
We've learned quite a bit about the open-world activities that Need for Speed Unbound will offer. Some of them are reminiscent of the GTA series, and others of the Forza Horizon or Test Drive Unlimited series.
The release of Need for Speed Unbound, the latest installment of Electronic Arts' hit racing series, is approaching. Therefore, articles with fresh information are regularly published on the game's official website. Another such entry described the activities available in the open world and some of them are somewhat reminiscent of the Grand Theft Auto series.
- Players will be able to play as a cab driver. From time to time we will be contacted by a driver who is stuck somewhere and needs transportation. After picking up the passenger, police officers will start chasing us and we will have to escape them and get the passenger to a hideout. If we are caught, we will earn nothing. If we succeed, not only will we get paid, but in addition this particular hideout will be unlocked for our use.
- There will also be missions with dropping off cars of unknown origin (most likely stolen) to designated addresses. Such missions will differ in the levels of police attention and whether time or the condition in which we deliver the car will count. In the latter case, it will be a good idea to repair the damage if you wreck your machine while driving, before reaching your destination.
- There will also be all sorts of collectibles, as well as attractions more typical of racing games, such as speed cameras, drift zones and jumps.
The article also mentions a new gameplay mode in the form of Takeover, which we wrote about more extensively a few days ago.
Recall that Need for Speed Unbound is heading for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5. The release will take place on December 2, this year.
