New World - Character Transfer Option Between Servers is a Priority
In a recent Twitter post, representatives of Amazon Games assured that their current priority is to improve the situation with New World's servers, including adding the option to transfer characters from one server to another. The move comes in response to player requests.

The launch of New World, which took place last Tuesday, turned out to be a huge success. As Amazon Games studio, the creators of this MMORPG, informed, their work was launched by over a million people on the first day. Unfortunately, this spawned several problems. Suffice it to mention that players were forced to stand in queues for several hours to get to the servers. The creators almost immediately took to rectifying this situation - they doubled the number of servers and increased their capacity. For some players, however, it was not enough, because they demand one more option. It's about the ability to freely move a character between servers.
Why is this such a big problem? The answer is very simple - currently, the decision to choose a server during the first login is irreversible and there is no option to play together with a friend who has chosen a different server. Fortunately, the team from Amazon Games has not remained deaf to the comments of the community and is trying to solve this problem as a priority. As staded in an announcement released a few hours ago (its full content can be found below), the option to change server in New World is scheduled to appear next week. However, the developers warn that there may be a slight delay, because they want to thoroughly test it before the official implementation. Additional details on this subject are to be given soon.
