New Trailers and Post-launch Support for Watch Dogs: Legion
Ubisoft has shared two new trailers of Watch Dogs: Legion - one of them is another introduction to the story, and the other presents a development roadmap, focusing on multiplayer mode.
The launch of Watch Dogs: The Legion is only a few weeks away and Ubisoft is revealing more and more of its cards. And what's there to say, the company plays va banque. Two new trailers have appeared online. The first one is a typical, very cinematic story trailer, but it doesn't hold a candle to the second one, in which the creators flooded us with additional content to appear after the launch. By the way, we had another chance to play the title again. We wrote a few sentences about it in our new article.
All the novelties concern, among others, the multiplayer mode, planned to appear in the form of an update on December 3, 2020. We will be able to explore post-brexit London with our friends, performing dedicated co-op missions, focusing on teamwork. There will be a maximum of 4 people in one group.
In addition, the creators will enable us to fight in deathmatch at the start. However, we will be able to control not people, but mechanical spiders with built-in guns, so it will be a mini-game rather than an engaging, autonomous mode providing hours of fun. However, the developers assure that there will be more different PvP variants in the future.
Ubisoft promises that the upcoming updates will be free of charge and will include more characters with unique abilities, more mission sets, as well as New Game Plus mode, enabling us to start the game again with our achievements and progress from the previous playthrough.
The most surprising is probably the content of Season Pass, because it will offer us a new storyline titled Watch Dogs: Legion - Bloodline, in which we will be able to play as the protagonist of the first installment, Aiden Pearce, as well as one of the protagonists from the second game, Wrench. They will be joined by two completely new characters - Mina with the ability to control minds, and Dracy, a member of the Assassin Order. Yes, you've read that one right - we're getting another Assassin's Creed crossover, this time more ambitious.
The title will debut on October 20, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. A week and a half later, on November 10, the game will appear on Xbox Series X/S (along with its launch). The situation is similar for PlayStation 5 - the game will be released on November 12.
