New Trailer for Neo Berlin 2087 - RPG Inspired by Deus Ex and Borrowing From John Wick
A fresh trailer for Neo Berlin 2087, a game inspired by the Deus Ex series that will let us explore cyberpunk Germany, has hit the web.
There are still a few days left until the start of this year's gamescom, but some developers and publishers have already started releasing video content in preparation for the event.
The trailer focuses mainly on the plot, presenting us with a grim vision of cyberpunk Germany of the future as well as the main character - a policeman looking for a woman that winessed a murder.
The trailer also featured a lot of gameplay. The game will allow for combat from in either FPP or TPP perspective, and offer brutal finisher animations, reminiscent of what John Wick did in his movie series. In the trailer, the main character's facial expressions leave a lot to be desired for now, but the rest of the game's elements look promising - although there's no denying that the whole thing is rather low-budget.
It's worth mentioning that, contrary to what the combat-focused trailer shows, in Neo Berlin 2087 gameplay will be modeled on the Deus Ex series, placing a heavy emphasis on RPG mechanics and adventure elements. During the game, the player will have to investigate, which will be aided by technologies enabling the player to analyze the emotions of witnesses, as well as hack their brains in search of important memories.
Neo Berlin 2087 is headed for PC, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S and PlayStation 5.. The game is expected to be released next year.
