Fans of Star Wars games can get excited, as a new title set in a galaxy far, far away will soon be revealed. This is at least what can be deduced from the details accessed by the renowned industry insider, Timur222 (via Insider-Gaming), who focuses on sharing information from the official social media profiles of developers and publishers.

The insider in the post on X revealed that the mysterious RTS from the developers of the Star Wars Jedi series will be presented during the upcoming Star Wars Celebration in Japan. The event will take place from April 18th to 20th.

The mentioned strategy is one of the three projects that Electronic Arts announced in 2022. At that time, we found out that the RTS will be the product of a partnership between Respawn and the newly established Bit Reactor studio, headed by industry veteran Greg Foertsch. The dev was the artistic director for the two latest installments of the XCOM series.

It's also worth noting that this may not be the only Star Wars strategy in development. According to recent information, Creative Assembly studio is working on the next installment of the Total War series, which will also take us to the Star Wars universe. Unfortunately, the absence of details suggests that this project is in the initial stages of production.

If all the above reports turn out to be true, Star Wars fans are in for a really interesting future. One can only hope that the games won't share the fate of the poorly received Star Wars: Outlaws.
