New Releases Dominate Steam, Including Final Fantasy VII Remake
After weeks of stagnation, the Steam bestseller list finally saw some big changes. There were four new additions to the top 10, including Final Fantasy VII Remake.
Like every Monday the list of the biggest (by revenue) bestsellers of the past week on Steam has been released.
As in the previous list, the first place was taken by Steam Deck. However, there were many changes in the lower positions thanks to the appearance of four newcomers. In addition, a small renaissance was experienced by Monster Hunter: Rise.
Excellent debut of Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade
In the past week, Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade, the first installment of the planned 3-episode remake of a jRPG classic, debuted on Steam. The game took second place on the bestseller list.
This success is partly due to the high price, but sales are still impressive, especially since the title has been available on Epic Games Store since last year. In addition, the project was warmly received - on Steam 91% of user reviews are positive, which is categorized as a "very positive" reception.

Successful launches of Chivalry 2, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge and Starship Troopers: Terran Command
The last place on the podium was taken by Chivalry 2. For a year the game was an Epic Games Store exclusive. The results of this game and Final Fantasy VII Remake: Intergrade show that many players are willing to wait for the titles to be released on Steam instead of buying them on other services.
A successful debut was also achieved by the beat'em up game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge. Gamers are delighted with this title - on Steam 92% of user reviews are positive.
In the top ten bestsellers list we find another newcomer in the form of a defensive RTS Starship Troopers: Terran Command. Here, too, the reception is very positive - 84% of player reviews on Steam praise this strategy game.
Monster Hunter Renaissance: Rise
It is also worth noting the popularity renaissance of Monster Hunter: Rise. The game took fourth place on the bestseller list, which is largely due to the still ongoing, attractive promotion, which enables us to buy this title for half price.
The preorder of the Monster Hunter: Rise - Sunbreak expansion pack is also doing very well, the DLC debuting next week.
The promotion combined with the upcoming expansion also significantly increased the game's activity results. At the hottest moment on Sunday, the title was played on Steam by 61,467 concurrent users. For comparison, the record of the previous weekend (June 11-12) amounted to 24 thousand players.
