New historical Total War in pre-production - says Creative Assembly
During the press presentation of Total War: Warhammer held recently, Creative Assembly revealed that another (eleventh) Total War game is already in pre-production.
Despite of having Total War: Warhammer in advanced production and many other games on their mind (e.g. Total War: Arena and Halo Wars 2), Creative Assembly is already planning another main entry in the Total War series. During the press presentation of a strategic map in Total War: Warhammer which was held last week, the developer revealed that it has already assembled a small team with a task of doing some early work on the 11th Total War game. We know neither the name of this title nor its release window yet, but Creative Assembly has already revealed that it’s going to be a game set in some unspecified historical era.
”We also have another historical Total War in pre-production. A small team is doing some conceptual work on it already” – said Petr Tomicek, a programmer at Creative Assembly.
Meanwhile, the developer is hard at work to finish Total War: Warhammer for its release planned for the 28th of April 2016.
