With only two months to go until its release, the creators of A Plague Tale: Requiem from time to time serve us with new materials from the game. Some time ago we could watch a longer fragment of the gameplay. The trailer published today is a little shorter and more generic, but still lasts more than five minutes (available below). It provides a good summary of what we will be dealing with, showing that Asobo Studio's new work will be both captivating and terrifying.
In the video, in addition to fragments of cut-scenes, we also get a glimpse of the gameplay and its various mechanics - such as the new one, where we control hordes of rats and devour entire squads of enemies.. In addition, we can take a peek at exciting action sequences or even the crafting system. All accompanied by the narrator explaining the premise of the gameplay and the story we will come to know. It looks really promising.
By the way, we also learned that the game will appear at this year's gamescom, taking place from August 24 to August 28. A Plague Tale: Requiem will be available for testing at Microsoft's booth. One of the first chapters of the game is to be made available - the same one that was presented in June.
Publisher Focus Entertainment also announced that a series of "In Focus" videos will launch on August 30, designed to give us a look behind the scenes.
A Plague Tale: Requiem will debut on October 18 on PC, as well as PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S and Switch (the latter version will run in the cloud).
