New Footage from The Wolf Among Us 2 Reminds of Telltale Games' Sequel
New screenshots of The Wolf Among Us 2 appeared on the Internet, dispelling fears about the fate of the sequel to Telltale Games studio's iconic adventure game.
Players worried about the fate of The Wolf Among Us 2 can breathe a sigh of relief. Everything indicates that the title is doing well and we will soon learn much more about it.The reason for this optimism is the appearance of new screenshots from the game. Geoff Keighley, the organizer of a series of industry events, such as The Game Awards or Summer Game Fest, published them.
- This is the first new visuals we've gotten from the project since the 2022 trailer. One of these screenshots depicts gameplay.
- Geoff Keighley's social media posts are primarily meant to build excitement before the events he hosts. This year's edition of Summer Game Fest will take place on June 7, so The Wolf Among Us 2 may be shown there.
The Wolf Among Us 2 is a project plagued by many problems. The sequel was announced in 2017, but before it could be finished, Telltale Games ran into such difficulties that it had to lay off nearly all of its staff a year later. The company was ultimately saved, and in 2019 it presented a game trailer at The Game Awards.
Work on The Wolf Among Us 2 then proceeded very reluctantly and the game experienced several delays. Last year, Telltale was forced to carry out further mass layoffs. At that time, it was assured that the sequel had not been abandoned, but some of the developers who left the project caused great concern among the fans.
Sharing new screenshots should dispel these concerns. Telltale assures that work is still ongoing and the devs are so focused on it that they haven't recently had time to update players on the progress.
