New Extensive Gameplay From Everspace 2

Rockfish Games has released a new trailer and gameplay from Everspace 2. The two videos enable us to see, among others, the battles planetside an on orbits.

As part of IGN's Summer of Gaming 2020 event, Rockfish Games has released two new videos from Everspace 2, a sequel to the popular space shooter from 2017.

The first video is a trailer that focuses on showing planetside battles. The second video offers about 10 minutes of gameplay, recorded in the alpha version of the game, so many elements may still change. Nevertheless, the whole thing gives a pretty good idea about the direction this project is heading.

It is worth mentioning that game's closed alpha tests have recently started. They are attended by about a thousand people who supported the project during its fundraiser campaign on Kickstarter. For now, Everspace 2 was only announced on PCs, but the creators want to port the project to consoles in the future as well.

The game is due to debut in Steam Early Access in December this year, where it will spend about 12 months, so the full version should be released in late 2021 or early 2022. The console versions should make their debut at the same time. Rockfish Games is currently negotiating with several publishers and it is possible that the game will also receive boxed releases.
