New City Builder Will Have Us Rebuild Society After Major Disaster
We lived to see the trailer for New Cycle - a city builder in which we will try to rebuild a society devastated after an apocalyptic solar flare.
A new city builder strategy was announced at the Future Games Show Summer Showcase 2023. The game, titled New Cycle will take the players to a world trying to recover from an apocalyptic solar flare. The game features a depressing atmosphere, somewhat reminiscent of Frostpunk from 11 bit studios.
According to the announcement, the game is expected to offer a unique experience - the goal of the gameplay will not only be to survive, but above all to build a future with a group of survivors. To do so, you will have to regain access to forgotten or lost technologies, take care of people, and increase their numbers, as they are to be the main resource in the game.
Trailer for New Cycle shows how players will manage people and infrastructure to rebuild society from the ashes. A nice novelty is that the title will soon be available for testing - a free demo version of the game can be found on Steam starting June 19, when the next edition of Steam Next Fest launches.
City builder strategy New Cycle will debut on PC soon. More details about the game are revealed in the trailer attached to the news and the game's card on Steam.
