The Day Before Rival Nakwon: Last Paradise Alpha Test Launches on Steam [Update]
Mintrocket has released the first gameplay footage from Nakwon: Last Paradise. The developers invite you to participate in pre-alpha testing of the latest zombie survival game.
Update
At 5:00 p.m., PST began the announced alpha testing of Nakwon: Last Paradise. You can join the tests on Steam (there are currently nearly 3 thousand people in the game). The developers have prepared a special message for the participants, in which they explain the basic aspects of the event.
Original message (November 23)
In the middle of this year, the gameDave the Diver hit the market. The pixelart game by Mintrocket was met with a fantastic reception, providing the developers with international fame. Korean developers, however, do not intend to close themselves to one genre and have been working for some time on a survival PvPvE action game called Nakwon: Last Paradise.
After they shared a trailer in September, the developers decided to treat us to a new, much longer gameplay. You can watch it below.
If you are interested in the aforementioned title, we have good news for you. On November 28 at 5 p.m. PST open pre-alpha testing of Nakwon: Last Paradise will begin on Steam. We will be able to play the game until December 4 at midnight. The developers have also prepared a small Q&A, where they answered a few questions about the test version of the game. There they assured, among other things, that the game will not offer pay-to-win mechanics.
For those who haven't followed the earlier information on Mintrocket's new work, we remind that the setting of the game is a post-apocalyptic Seoul overrun by hordes of bloodthirsty zombies. Players will be tasked with exploring the city and searching for valuable materials. They will be hindered not only by the undead, who are sensitive to all noises, but also by other players. Therefore, it will be extremely important to have a proper plan of action, because in case of death you will lose all your possessions.
If, after watching the footage and reading the description you thought of The Day Before (debuted in early access on December 7), we are absolutely not surprised. Both productions seem very similar. Which of them will ultimately perform better? We will find out in a while.
