Capcom has announced an Open Beta Test (OBT) for Monster Hunter: Wilds, giving players a chance to experience the game ahead of its full release in February. The beta will allow players to explore a selected portion of Monster Hunter: Wilds and help test technical aspects like network connectivity and general performance. It’s important to remember that the OBT doesn’t represent the game’s final version, so many elements may differ significantly in the full release.
Capcom has announced a special offer for PlayStation Plus subscribers, granting them early access to the Monster Hunter: Wilds Open Beta Test. For subscribers, the test will begin on Monday, October 28, 2024, at 8:00 p.m. PT and end on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 7:59 p.m. PT.

Monster Hunter Wilds Open Beta Test content
The Open Beta Test will feature the complete character creator, allowing players to redesign their character as many times as they like. You can even carry over your character creation data to the full version of Monster Hunter: Wilds, so take your time designing your Palico.
The OBT will also include a Story Trial, where players can experience the opening cutscene and jump right into the first hunt, complete with basic tutorials. This trial will give players a chance to test out weapon mechanics and experience the "seamless transitions from cutscenes into gameplay." In addition to these features, players will also have the opportunity to hunt Doshaguma.
