Monster Hunter: Wilds Impresses in New Trailer. Capcom Prepares One of 2025's Biggest Hits
One of the stars of Summer Game Fest 2024 turned out to be the game Monster Hunter: Wilds. Capcom prepared a video for the event, which shows well why it will be one of the most important releases of next year.
This year, instead of the E3 event, we received a series of shows. The Summer Game Fest 2024 was one of the most eagerly awaited presentation. The event was traditionally filled with video materials from upcoming games. Among them was a fresh trailer for Monster Hunter: Wilds, the latest installment of the hit action RPG series from Capcom.
The footage shown allowed us to see many good-looking fragments of gameplay and some of the extensive collection of monsters that we will need to hunt.
Expectations for the game are huge, as it's the successor to Monster Hunter: World, which became Capcom's biggest hit, selling over 20 million copies. In second place, with a score of 14.7 million, is Monster Hunter: Rise from 2021. Therefore, gamers are really excited about this series, and the footage of Monster Hunter: Wilds presented at Summer Game Fest 2024 indicates that the latest release in the series will further fuel this excitement.
Monster Hunter: Wilds is coming to PC, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series X, and PlayStation 5 consoles. Unfortunately, it will be a while before we go on a virtual hunt in this game, as its premiere is scheduled for next year. The game will make its PC debut at the same time as it is released on other platforms. This is important because for Monster Hunter: World and Monster Hunter: Rise, PC players had to wait longer than their console counterparts.
