The PC edition is the same great action RPG as the original on Switch (you can read more about it in the article about reviews of the console edition), so the most interesting opinions are about the technical layer. In this respect, the PC edition is said to be excellent.
Reviewers praise the improved graphics and the fact that the higher resolution enables us to appreciate details that were hard to see on Switch. The PC release is also expected to offer good engine optimization and run well even on weaker hardware.
The only drawback mentioned in most reviews, is the inability to import the saved game state saves from the Nintendo Switch edition to the PC. Therefore, veterans who previously played on consoles, after switching to PCs will have to start their monster hunter career from scratch.
The PC edition of Monster Hunter: Rise will debut tomorrow, January 12. A demo has been available on Steam for some time, enabling us to check out the title before launch.
