Minecraft: Dungeons will receive the Jungle Awakens add-on and more.

We are only two days away from the release of Minecraft: Dungeons, a spin-off of Mojang's hit game. It seems that we just learned devs' plans for the game's expansions. User zozozrobv2 has found images from two upcoming DLCs in the updated pre-release version of the game.

According to his findings, two expansions are planned for Minecraft: Dungeons in the form of Creeping Winter and Jungle Awakens. The screenshots and titles suggests that the first one will take us to snowy regions, and the second, enable us to explore the jungle. Apart from new locations we can expect new monsters and items. Of course, until the official announcement, this information should be take with a grain of salt. However, the pictures provided by the user are very convincing.

Minecraft: Dungeons is coming to Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. The game will also be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass. The launch is slated for May 26.

Many reviews of the game have already appeared online. On Metacritic, Minecraft: Dungeons has an average rating of 76%, both on PC and Xbox One. The title is praised for the quality of execution, affordability and wonderful gameplay. Criticism focuses mainly on simplified mechanics and repeatability of challenges.

Reviewers are not sure if the game will manage to keep the players interested for months and years. Perhaps the addition of DLCs will introduce enough novelties to make it possible.
