We've known that we'll receive more novelties during the holiday season since the announcement informing of the fact that Caves & Cliffs will be split into two parts. Although since then the devs practically didn't mention the release date, but the latest test versions of Minecraft testified of imminent launch.
Last week, a new snapshot for the Java version and a beta version of Bedrock Edition, was made available. In both cases, it was limited to making some improvements, and Mojang openly admitted that it is finished with adding content. Now the developers are just polishing the novelties that we will see with the launch of Caves & Cliffs Update: Part II.
As a reminder: the second part of the update will introduce changes, which Caves & Cliffs Update owes its name to. It's about a new system of world generation, thanks to which we will see huge mountains and complex cave systems in the game. In addition, candles will be added, contrary to appearances, anticipated by many fans.
Unfortunately, even on November 30 we won't get everything that Mojang originally prepared for Caves & Cliffs Update. Archaeology, which is supposed to be a completely new and complex system, will still be waiting to be added. We'll have to wait until 2022 for its release.
