MechWarrior 5 Goes to Epic Games Store
The Epic Games Store has just come into exclusive possession of another title. Piranha Games has announced that their latest work - MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries - will be available for one year only on Tim Sweeney's platform. Additionally, the game will the delayed a bit and will appear on the market on 10 December.
Piranha Games has announced that the latest installment of the BattleTech mech simulator series - MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries will have its release postponed to December 10, this year. It is also known that it will be another temporary exclusive title on Epic Game Store. This means that the production will only be launched on Steam year later.
In a press note published on the official website of MechWarrior 5: Mercenaries, the devs announced that thanks to the exclusivity agreement they were able refine the game.

Anyone who has pre-ordered the game and is dissatisfied with the decision of the developers, can file for a refund by September 1. Piranha Games will pay the full amount for the title and will allow you to keep the pre-order bonus items for MechWarrior Online. Access to the game and the closed beta scheduled for November will be revoked.
Most interestingly, the rebuilding of the FAQ [page started over a week ago. At that time, the creators cited the need to remove the information about MechWarrior 5 pre-orders as the reason. However, there was no mention of any changes to the digital distribution platform.
