Mass Effect's SSV Normandy Arrives to No Man's Sky

The Beachhead expedition in No Man's Sky has led players to an unexpected discovery. Until the end of May, they can get their hands on the iconic ship from the Mass Effect series.

For the past week, players have been trying to unravel the mystery of the Beachhead expedition in No Man's Sky, but no one seemed to expect where solving the mystery of the Historiographical Dosimeter would lead the players. Hello Games Studio has confirmed that the reward for reaching the end of the expedition is none other than the SSV Normandy, the iconic ship from Mass Effect series. Shepard's vessel will be available until the end of May for those who complete all five stages of Beachhead.

It's hard to be surprised by the players being surprised, as the SSV Normandy is actually the first such gift from another game in No Man's Sky. However, apparently this is not the last such action prepared by the developers. Hello Games assured on the game's official website that it has a few more surprises in store for the fifth anniversary of No Man's Sky. Will these be more crossovers, thanks to which fans will receive content from Star Wars, Star Trek or another space series? We'll are to learn more about it soon.

Apart from Normandy, patch 3.41 is mainly a variety of fixes, in part related to the Beachhead expedition. The full list of changes can be found on the game's official website.
