Patrick Klaus, the CEO of EA Motive studio, shared fresh updates about the progress of the game Marvel's Iron Man. While the developer primarily discussed the next Battlefield in its announcement, he also noted that the project centered around the titular superhero is progressing well and is built on "solid foundations."

The team, led by Executive Producer Olivier Proulx (Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy) and Creative Director Ian Frazier (Mass Effect: Andromeda), has "made excellent progress this year" and achieved a significant "milestone."

Development continues to move forward on our Iron Man project, led by Olivier Proulx (Executive Producer) and Ian Frazier (Creative Director). The team made excellent progress this year, hitting a major internal milestone and laying a robust foundation for the journey ahead -- Klaus explained in his announcement.

Unfortunately, the developer hasn't disclosed when fans can anticipate the announcement of the release date, but given the mention of a "further journey," it is unlikely that a quick presentation of the game is imminent.

For now, we'll have to make do with the existing information, which indicates that Marvel's Iron Man will be a single-player action game with an "original storyline drawing on Iron Man's rich history, showcasing the complexity, charisma, and creative genius of Tony Stark." The game is being developed on Unreal Engine 5.
