Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on PC Requires 150GB on Disk

The devs revealed the system requirements for the PC version of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The game will take a surprisingly large amount of space on our hard drives.

Only a dozen days separate us from the release of Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. Square Enix decided that it was high time to reveal the system requirements for the PC version of the game. It did so by updating the game's card on Steam.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy PC - minimum requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i5-4460 / AMD Ryzen 5 1400
  2. Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 / AMD Radeon RX 570
  3. DirectX: 12
  4. RAM: 8 GB
  5. Disk space: 150 GB
  6. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit (Build 1803)

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy PC - recommended requirements

  1. Processor: Intel Core i7-4790 / AMD Ryzen 5 1600
  2. Graphics Card: Nvidia GeForce GTX 1660 Super / AMD Radeon RX 590
  3. DirectX: 12
  4. RAM: 16 GB
  5. Disk space: 150 GB
  6. Operating System: Windows 10 64-bit (Build 1803)

The requirements seem average for a high-budget production from 2021. The only exception is how much hard drive space the game will need. 150 GB is a surprising figure, especially considering that the title will only offer a single player mode. We hope that this is at least partly due to the large size of the story campaign.

Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy will be released on October 26, on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. The game will also available for Nintendo Switch owners thanks to streaming technology. The game went gold in mid-September, so we probably do not have to worry about any delays (Cyberpunk 2077 case was a rare exception to this rule).
