Marvel's Avengers Beta - Players Reveal Hidden Superheroes
The source files of the recently released Marvel's Avengers beta revealed superheroes previously unannounced by Crystal Dynamics. What characters may appear after the release of the full version?
Inquisitive players have dug into the source files of Marvel's Avengers beta, obtaining information about what may be additional characters planned by Crystal Dynamics and Eidos Montreal. What did the creators hide in them? In the first version of the beta, one could find references to War Machine, She-Hulk and Hawkeye's protégé - Kate Bishop.
More superheroes were revealed by the patch to the early version of Marvel's Avengers. The updated files reported Peter Parker, or Spider-Man, and Captain Marvel. The first character has been officially confirmed, but will only be released on PlayStation 4 and PS5 as part of exclusive deal with Sony, which has caused an outrage in the community. This gives hope that the other superheroes will also appear in the game as DLCs, although naturally there is no guarantee. Square Enix, the publisher of Marvel's Avengers, has announced for the time being one additional, apart from Spider-Man, playble post-launch hero - Hawkeye, who will join the basic roster consisting of Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Ms Marvel, Thor and Captain America.
As a reminder, the full version of Marvel's Avengers will debut on September 4, this year on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The PS5 and Xbox Series X versions will also be released later this year. If you're interested in testing the beta, we'd like to refer you to this news for details.
