Manor Lords update brings bridges, excess inventory mechanics, and new maps
Manor Lords developer shared some new features that will come to the game in an upcoming update. It will feature, among other things, a bridge-building system or redesigned animations.
Grzegorz Styczen announced on Steam an upcoming update for Manor Lords. There, we will find both elements already known to us from previous news, as well as completely new ones. The patch will introduce several features and improvements, and will hit the public beta version "soon."
What's new coming to Manor Lords?
A new bridge construction system is heading to the game, utilizing the already existing Road Tool. These buildings will serve us to connect key areas, which will be particularly useful on one of the two new maps - Swiss Valley and Winding River, on which we will find a long and winding river.
The animations associated with the deep mine will be reworked. From the new update, the workers will go underground to take care of the extraction. Rather than carrying out their tasks on the surface as they used to, they will go into the mine and emerge later with resources.
A surplus inventory mechanism will also be added, which aims to ensure smoother deliveries. For instance, tavern workers will be able to "overstock" on beer when they feel that this resource is about to run out. This adjustment will aid in reducing delivery fluctuations due to logistics, particularly in major cities, where handling them can be difficult.
Furthermore, there will also be a small but certainly pleasant option in the form of changing the order of unit cards. From now on, players will be able to drag and drop them at their own discretion, allowing for better organization.
