Today, an open beta of Magic: Legends, a free-to-play MMORPG set in the multiverse of Magic: The Gathering, will launch on Epic Games Store. Anyone interested can start downloading now to play the game when it is unlocked.
Magic: Legends is a typical top-down MMORPG. During the adventure, we play as a self-created Planeswalker, a being able to move between worlds in the multiverse. Our job, quite typical, is to explore new locations, fight enemies and perform tasks. If you are interested in what the beta will offer, you can watch the video below. The creators show the basic gameplay mechanics.
Full version of Magic: Legends is expected to debut on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One later this year. However, the exact date is not known.
