Mafia III new trailer reveals the release date

Mafia III has just got a new story trailer called “One Way Road”. It highlights the protagonist and his motives. The exact release date has also been revealed – the game is coming out this fall.

A new story trailer for Mafia III has been released, revealing the game’s main plot and the protagonist. The next installment in this popular open-world gangster action game series will let you play as Lincoln Clay, a veteran of the Vietnam War, who, upon returning home, discovers that his gang has been betrayed and annihilated by the Italian Mafia. The story is thus based on the classic theme of vengeance – Lincoln works towards acquiring new allies and rebuilding his “family” in order to take bloody revenge on the rivals. Mafia III is going to be set in 1968 in New Bordeaux, a fictional city heavily inspired by New Orleans. Except for the name, the authors aim to render the metropolis – the birthplace of jazz – as faithfully as they can manage.

A release date of the long-awaited new Mafia game has also been announced on this occasion. Mafia III is going to launch on October 7, 2016 on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
