Lots of Free Content Coming to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown; New Modes Expected by Players Included
Ubisoft has unveiled a „roadmap” for the game Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown. It turns out that a bunch of free content is headed to this year's platformer.
We announced some time ago that the appreciated metroidvania Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown will get free content. Today we learned some specifics on this (see the graphic below).
- It turns out that this month, the Ubisoft's game will receive two new game modes: speedrun and permanent death. On top of that, Sargon will gain additional outfits.
- In spring, the latest "Prince of Persia" will feature another gameplay variant, this time focused solely on bosses. In this update, there will also be additional "outfits" for the main character.
- Finally, in summer, "Divine Trials" update will be added to Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, as part of which new battles, puzzles, challenges, and talismans will be added.
It's worth mentioning that all game owners will receive the DLC listed above for free. Furthermore, later in the year, Ubisoft's production will be enriched with a large narrative expansion (most likely paid), about which we should learn more in the near future.
Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown released on January 18 this year on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch. The game received very favorable reviews, both from critics (87% on OpenCritic.com) and players alike (average 86% on Metacritic).
