Loop Hero Bought by 500 Thousand Gamers. Patch in the Works
Four Quarters, the creators of Loop Hero, informed that in the first week after its release the game sold 500 thousand copies. The developers are already working on patches, and in the future we'll also get new content.
IN A NUTSHELL:
- 500k players bought Loop Hero in the first week after release;
- The developers are working on a patch, and we'll get new content in the future.
Developers from Four Quarters, creators of unusual indie game Loop Hero, have reasons to be happy. It seems that their game has become the latest hit of Steam. In the first week after the launch (which took place on March 4) the title was bough by as many as 500 thousand players, which can be considered a great success.
To celebrate the positive reception of their work, the creators teamed up with an artist called Bard-the-zombie, who created a series of Steam collectible cards inspired by the game. One of them can be seen above, while the other are presented at the end of this news.
The developers have also announced that they are working on quality-of-life patches and fixes - namely a system for saving the game during expeditions, speed settings and a set of traits associated with bosses. In the future we can also expect more cards, transformations, classes and new music.
