Looney Tunes Return, Censored and Without Guns
Looney Tunes appeared in the American HBO Max offer, and with them all the iconic cast characters, including Bugs Bunny. Due to the decision of the creators, the animation won't show firearms.
It's been almost a year since the first promo video announcing the reboot of the Looney Tunes series called Looney Tunes Cartoons. The trailer presented a short scene of a chase with Bugs Bunny and hunter Elmer Fudd.

This scene was rich in the classic kind of animated violence and dynamics. The escaping animal used a large amount of explosives, while Elmer had a scythe in his hands, instead of the iconic rifle.
The creator of the series, Peter Browngardt, claims that giving up firearms is a fully conscious decision. He stresses, however, that the atmosphere of the cartoon will be preserved and the rest of the arsenal is allowed:
"We're not doing guns, but we can do cartoony violence — TNT, the Acme stuff. All that was kind of grandfathered in."
