Quite a treat will await fans of Stranger Things. After all, the fifth season of the hit Netflix show will feature the Terminator star.
Stranger Things is a true phenomenon of recent years. The flagship production from Netflix, for which Matt and Ross Duffer are responsible, has grown over four seasons to become the platform's absolute leader in terms of viewership. So it's no surprise that fans are eagerly awaiting more information about the fifth and final season of the adventures of the residents of Hawkins. Those came during this year's Tudum.
During the annual event dedicated to Netflix's upcoming projects, it was announced that the cast of the final episodes of Stranger Things has been joined by Linda Hamilton. Unfortunately, it was not revealed whom the star of Terminator will play.
The American actress made her screen debut in the late 1970s, initially playing small roles in TV productions. The breakthrough came only in 1984, when she played the role of Sarah Connor in the first part of The Terminator. Then came the Beauty and the Beast, for which she received two Golden Globes. In 1991, she again played John Connor's mother in Terminator 2: Judgment Day. She recently reprised the role in Tim Miller's Terminator: Dark Destiny.

Linda Hamilton's involvement is undoubtedly good news for fans of both Stranger Things and Terminator. Nevertheless, one should not set one's sights on the star's soon arrival on the set of the series. Recall that work on the fifth season of the adventures of Eleven and her friends has been halted due to the ongoing strike of screenwriters since the beginning of May.
