Let's Watch The Game Awards 2019
The Game Awards gala will take place tonight, revealing the best game of 2019. Apart from getting to know the winners in 29 categories, we will also see announcements of new titles.
On December 12, at 5:30pm PT/8:30pm ET, The Game Awards 2019, this year's edition of the gala, known as "gaming Oscars", will begin. The event will be streamed live on YouTube and Twitch (links to individual broadcasts at the end of the message). The most important point of the programme will naturally be the awarding of prizes in 29 categories. The list of nominated titles can be found at this address. For the second time in a row, representatives of our website were included in the committee selecting the games.
The Game Awards are not only prizes, but also announcements of new titles. The renowned journalist and originator of the event, Geoff Keighley, announced that this year's gala will feature about ten new productions. Of course, there were no details, but the fans know. Batman: Arkham Legacy, about which there has been a lot of publicity for some time, is almost certain to appear. Raphael Colantonio, former head of Arkane Studios (Dishonored, Prey), also announced the presentation of his production. From the trailer of this year's edition we can also conclude that there will be new materials from Diablo IV, Marvel's Avengers or Elden Ring.
The most electrifying topic, however, is the choice of the game of the year. In this category the main candidates for the statuette are Death Stranding and Control. Although, as we learned from last year's example (when everyone were positive that RDR 2 will get the title, and it was won by GoW), nothing is certain. It is also worth mentioning that the production of Hideo Kojima is most nominated, as many as nine times, title this year and has a chance to receive a statuette for Best Action Adventure Game, Best Directed Game or Best Story. Below you will find links to live streams.
