Let's Watch PlayStation Showcase Today
The PlayStation Showcase will be held today. What games will Sony present? Marvel's Spider-Man 2 seems a sure thing, but the show is expected to last an hour. We invite you to watch it together.
We've been waiting a long time for this event, but we're finally only a few hours away from its start. We are, of course, talking about the PlayStation Showcase, which will take place today at 1 p.m. PST / 10 p.n. CET. We invite you to watch it together - let's find out what aces has Sony hiding up its sleeve.
PlayStation Showcase - where to watch?
The show will be broadcast on YouTube and Twitch. You can find links to them below. The whole thing is expected to last an hour.
Marvel's Spider-Man 2
The almost certains star of the evening promises to be Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Although the date has not yet been made public - perhaps we'll know it today - it is certain that the release of the sequel toInsomniac Games's title from 2018 is fast approaching. It is said, that Peter Parker will return in September. If so, Sony would have more or less a quarter for a short but intense marketing campaign.
Metal Gear Solid 3 remake
Another fairly certain candidate seems to be the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater. Its possible announcement at the PlayStation Showcase is not expected to mean that it will be a PS5 exclusive, although this cannot be completely ruled out for now.
Other games and more
Less certain seem to be the presentations of:
- The Last of Us: Factions;
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart on PC;
- Death Stranding 2;
- Final Fantasy XVI;
- Silent Hill 2;
- TV series Ghost of Tsushima and Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
One can also count on Sony to surprise us with something. Privately, I'm hoping for the announcement of a remake of Bloodborne, which - let's agree - will happen sooner or later. There is also a lot of talk about a new console from the Japanese. It seems that the PlayStation Showcase is the perfect event to present it. Will it happen? We will know the answers to this and many other questions later today.
