Dyson Sphere Program is a popular game which allows players to build an intergalactic factory. The title is in early access and gets regular updates. One of them, Rise of the Dark Fog, was quite recently and added a combat mode. It was a trigger for many fans to return to the title, and for some, it was a good occasion to start the adventure for the first time. Many players who like to fiddle with the settings might have stumbled upon Milky Way option. We will tell you about it here.
Milky Way in Dyson Sphere Program
Milky Way can be found in the main menu. Go to Settings and pick the Gameplay tab. Look for Milky Way activated option – it can be ticked or not. Below it you can also decide if you want to upload your data.
However, reading this article, there is a great chance that you probably know how to find this option, but what does it do? As of now, there is no official multiplayer in Dyson Sphere Program. However, Milky Way is the next best thing. You may think of it as a leaderboard.
Milky Way option allows to interact with Milky Way, as the name suggests. It is a map of the galaxy with a lot of star systems. Each of them represents a player and their power output combined with number of engineers. The brighter the dot, the bigger the score. You can click them and see the nick and stats of the player.
There is a display filter in the upper right corner of the screen (magnifying glass). Thanks to this tool you can search for a specific seed (to find your friends) or pick only peaceful/combat runs.
To find Milky Way, you have to go to Starmap view and zoom out the game far enough. At some point you will see a short loading screen and the Milky Way galaxy will appear.
