League of Legends Novels Announced
Ruination: A League of Legends Novel, the first novel set in the world of League of Legends, has been announced.
The League of Legends franchise is growing by leaps and bounds and expanding into other media. After last year's success of the animated series Arcane Riot Games has decided to try its hand at the book market, announcing the novel Ruination.
The novel is written by Anthony Reynolds, the main scriptwriter of League of Legends. His credits include several well-received books from the Warhammer universe. Ruination will be released in American bookstores on September 6th, this year. The novel will also be released as an audiobook.
The main character of Ruination will be Kalista, well known to fans of the game, who plays the role of a general in King Viego's army. The novel will tell the story of her mission to find an ancient magic that can be the only one to save the poisoned Queen Isolda.
Announcement of Ruination suggests that this is only the first in a series of novels set in the League of Legends universe.
