Last Oasis MMORPG Gets Early Access Launch Date
Polish studio Donkey Crew revealed when their upcoming title, Last Oasis, will launch in Steam's Early Access. This mix of survival and MMORPG will be available on Valve's platform later this month.
Polish studio Donkey Crew revealed the release date of Last Oasis in Steam's Early Access. The title will hit Valve's platform on March 26, more than a year after the start of closed beta-tests. The creators have also released a new trailer, which you can watch below.
What is Last Oasis? The short answer would be "a Polish MMORPG", but this is not the whole truth. Donkey Crew decided to combine the MMO formula with survival game mechanics. In the game we'll find ourselves in a world where the Earth stopped spinning around its own axis, which had disastrous consequences. The remains of humanity are forced to lead nomadic lives, hiding from the scorching sun and trying to survive in ashy deserts or icy wastelands. As a result, the game revolves around finding the necessary resources and cratfting items, culminating in walking machines made of wood. The game will also offer a unique combat system and a lot of weapons that will be useful in fights against other players, pirates and giant worms. What's important, although Last Oasis will enable us to create clans, there will also be a lot of activity for those who prefer to play alone.
We don't know yet, when exactly the full version of Last Oasis will debut. The devs have had long tests behind them, but they also want to add more elements that need checking. This includes new gameplay mechanics and various fixes, as well as a lot of additional content to keep the title interesting. Hopefully, Donkey Crew will have more luck than with Of Kings and Men.
