WWII FPS Land of War Launches After Delay
After several weeks of delay, today marks the release of Land of War: The Beginning, an FPS game by Polish studio MS Games.
- Developer: MS Games
- Publisher: MS Games
- Genre: action game
- Platform: PC
Today marks the debut of Land of War: The Beginning, a single-player FPS, whose action takes place in Poland during the early period of World War II. The project is available only for PC and will be unlocked on Steam around 9 AM PT.
As you may remmeber, the game was originally supposed to be released on May 27, but literally a few hours before the debut the creators were forced to delay it. All because of the Nazi symbols present in the game, which are banned by German law. The developers quickly made the necessary changes, but the reworked version required re-approval by Steam, so players had to arm themselves with a little patience.
It is worth noting that the changes are not universal for all versions of Land of War: The Beginning. In markets where the law allows Nazi symbols in video games, the players will be able to enjoy the uncensored version.
To compensate players for the delay, a free DLC, Degtyaryov PPD-30, introducing an experimental submachine gun from 1930, will also debut alongside the game's release.
