The quick answer for this question is unfortunately no. There are no plans in the near future for the game to reach Game Pass.
It may obviously change down the road but now the only way to enjoy the game is through Early Access on Epic Games Store and on Steam on which the game enters Early Access program today.
About Voidtrain
In Voidtrain you play the role of an engineer. The title’s core mechanic is a customisable train that is your main mean of transport in this surreal surrounding. Despite the game being set in the literal Void, it is not empty though. In this setting you are tasked with exploring the Voidtrain’s world where you will encounter numerous enemies which you will fend off by crafting and customising your weapons and equipment.
The title it not finished yet and the developers are still working on it. Full release is planned for 2024, yet it is worth keeping in mind that this is always a subject to change. Voidtrain, as of now, allows to:
- Complete the prologue and the first chapter of the story,
- Upgrade train up to diesel era,
- Customise modular weapons,
- Tame rofleemo pets,
- Encounter enemy trains and outposts,
- Explore puzzle and arena islands,
- Choose Prophecies, which are in-game path modifiers,
- Discover more than 10 creatures and enemies.
On Steam’s game page as well as on the official Voidtrain’s twitter, there is a roadmap that lets us peak into the title’s development plan. Among others, the game will be updated with new Story chapters, new creatures, and new train upgrades.
If you are afraid to face the Void alone, Voidtrain offers an online multiplayer mode for up to 4 players.
