One of such loved productions is Cult of the Lamb with its recent update Sins of the Flesh. Among other interesting additions, like new rituals or expanded progression path for your followers, there are fresh buildings added, too. One of them is not new but made its way out of Penitence Mode to others. With the leader tent now broadly available, new questions arise – What does it do? Is it worth it at all? Leader Tent in Cult of the Lamb explained

With the latest major content update to Cult of the Lamb, the leader tent became available outside Penitence Mode. This requires a bit more explanation – the mode is basically a hardcore version of the world with permadeath and no tutorial at the beginning. It requires players to take more care of the protagonist. In this version of the game, the leader tent is a place for the lamb to rest during the nighttime as it is necessary to keep it alive.

However, as the tent is now available in other modes, is it worth putting in your settlement? The answer is, as always, it depends. It still comes with its basic functionality of skipping the night, but that’s basically it. Keep in mind that there is only so much space available in your camp. Even though it has been expanded a bit with the patch, if progressing a bit of time in the game does not convince you, maybe you should refrain from building it and use the available room for something else.

There is one thing worth mentioning about the tent’s ability to pass time. Beware of minor spoilers though! After completing the main game, you will gain access to purgatory. This is a special challenge that is available only once during in-game day. Using the leader tent can alleviate the waiting time, allowing you to attempt the next run faster. The similar situation is with crops, you can get them a little bit faster, if you skip some time.

Finally, be careful, as it seems that there is a bug related to the tent. Some players have reported that sleeping in this building results in an option to escape appearing, like in the instance of escaping dungeons. After using it, the game locks on the “Escaped! Return to your flock.” screen with no further option to continue or do anything else. The only way out of it is to force close the game and reload an earlier save.
