iPhone 11 Pro Max Bests Huawei and Samsung in Battery Life Benchmark
With the new iPhone 11 series, Apple has focused on two issues: the battery and the camera. The tests show that the manufacturer has done its homework on at least one of them.
Recently, Apple has made good progress on the battery life of its smartphones. This was proven by a test conducted by the owner of Mrwhosetheboss channel on YouTube. Youtuber compared the battery life of five models: iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ and Huawei Mate 30 Pro.
All of the above phone models are characterized by different battery capacity. For the basic 11 it is 3046 mAh, for the Pro - 3190 mAh, Pro Max - 3969 mAh, Note 10+ has 4300 mAh and 4500 mAh for Mate 30 Pro. On paper, then, the last one should win. In fact, his result was very close to the test winner - in the end Huawei was in second place.
During the battery life test, phones were used as intensively as possible. The brightness of the displays was increased accordingly and something was happening on them all the time. The creator of the channel admitted that it was the longest smartphone battery life test he had ever done.
The results are as follows (from worst to best):
- iPhone 11 - 5 hours and 2 minutes
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10 - 6 hours and 31 minutes
- iPhone 11 Pro - 6 hours, 42 minutes
- Huawei Mate 30 Pro - 8 hours and 13 minutes
- iPhone 11 Pro Max - 8 hours, 32 minutes
We can clearly see that the difference between the first and second place is minimal, while the device occupying the lowest level of the podium fares much worse. The Galaxy Note 10+ disappoints, having achieved one of the worst results despite such a capacious battery. It can only be explained by the size of the display, which in this respect is superior to the others.
