Fatigue, an experimental horror game, has joined the Steam Greenlight program. The game tells the story of a recently-fired detective conducting his own murder investigation in a small town.
Those of you who love survival horrors, especially indies, may be interested in Fatigue, an experimental game that has recently been submitted to the Steam Greenlight program. Fatigue is an isometric horror production that tells the story of John Foley, a detective recently fired due to his incompetence and mental instability. Foley arrives to the remote town of Pine Lake to take a vacation. Shortly thereafter, it turns out that there has been a “suspicious case of death” in the hotel where he plans to stay. The protagonist decides to conduct his own investigation. The developer, a Steam user nicknamed Distrainer, says that “Fatigue strongly relies on atmosphere and aims to tell a story about dependence on others, decaying trust, and paranoia”. While avoiding illnesses and staying healthy, we have to discover who or what killed a man named Larry Seinfeld.
The gameplay in Fatigue involves puzzle solving and catering to the protagonist’s needs. You can see a short trailer featuring pre-alpha gameplay footage below.
