SirMZK has been working on a mod for Cyberpunk 2077 for some time, aiming to restore the North Oak Casino area. In short, this YouTuber is involved in discovering and exploring abandoned locations in Night City, and he observed a solitary structure on one of the hills near the city - the aforementioned North Oak casino, which was intended to be part of an unrealized network module.

He liked the building so much that he decided to bring it back to life. The process lasted for over six months and encountered some issues along the way, but it finally succeeded - the project named North Oaks Exclusive Club And Casino Restored WIP is now available on the Nexus Mods platform.

The fruit of over 6 months of work

You can see the appearance of the facility after revitalization in the video below. You have to admit, it is impressive. It's vibrant and full of life - essentially, its interior resembles an exclusive casino operating in Night City. This achievement is even more impressive when we consider the fact that SirMZK doesn't have much experience when it comes to creating mods.

The project is still ongoing

Importantly, work on the modification isn't yet finished. The plan includes adding new rooms, but this is hindered by space limitations. SirMZK would also like to improve the surroundings of the building and its model, but unfortunately his level of advancement doesn't allow him to do so. That's why the mod was released as open source, so anyone who feels capable can try to improve it themselves.

In conclusion, it is worth reminding that just over a week ago, nearly nine years after the premiere, The Witcher 3 finally received official modding tools. This gives hope that Cyberpunk 2077 will eventually receive such a tool, and then developing projects like the one described in this text will surely be easier.
